We need your help!
The main wharf that holds our public space needs extensive (and expensive!) repairs. We need to fundraise $200,000 and the Guysborough Waterfront Society NEEDS YOUR HELP to achieve our goal for these very important structural repairs.
Thank You For Your Support!
The Guysborough Waterfront Society invites you to visit our Marina in our picturesque community this Summer! We are nestled in the sheltered Guysborough Harbour, on Nova Scotia’s Eastern Shore, near the Strait of Canso and the entrance to the Bras d’Or Lake. Situated halfway along your sailing journey between the Halifax Waterfront and the Port of Sydney.
Our marina offers many opportunities for boating in all types of conditions; having access to many sheltered coves and almost 15 kilometers of outstanding river boating along the Milford Haven River, with water depths of up to 50 feet!
There is a bridge dividing the upper portion of the Milford Haven River, but you can still enjoy at least 5 kilometers of scenery from your own vessel. If you think the height of your vessel is a concern, arrangements can be made for you to take a river cruise while you sit back and revel over a place you haven’t been. Our location also provides a direct link to the Atlantic Ocean right from our docks.
Guysborough Harbour is at the head of Chedabucto Bay where CQ2 FR marks its entrance.
The latitude and longitude coordinates of the marina are: 45°23’40″N and 61°29’58″W
